I have 2000 Accent, and I diagnosed faulty MAF sensor. I tried cleaning it and it didn't help. I have MAF sensor from old 1999 Accent that works, but it has 4 pin connector instead of 5 pin, and it doesn't have integrated IAT sensor.
How can I connect this old 4 pin MAF sensor and seperate IAT sensor to my 5 pin connector?
Does anyone have wiring diagrams of these two different...

Hi there. Hope someone can help or give advice on this problem.
I bought an AUTOMATIC Hyunda Accent 1.4 LSi (S-Reg, 1998) back in February, and everything was hunky dory. Unfortunately, a few months after, the car started going into what I've been told is "Emergency Fault Mode", where the automatic gearbox goes into third gear - and stays there. This is happening at random...

Hey guys,
I joined here a year ago but it's my first post.
My 97 Accent starting having troubles ever since Midas put in a few quarts of the wrong fluid. Since then I had them flush it out. I also drained the pan and replaced the filter and 4 more quarts afterwards.
The shift problems seem to occur after several minutes of driving. The car will fall out of OD...

Hello everyone.
I have a 1999 Hyundai Accent with manual door locks and windows. My drive side window seems to keep coming off the track. I managed to slip it back on using a flathead screwdriver once so far. I am not having much luck the second time around.
Seeing as everything is manual I figured this might just be an easy weekend fix. Is this something a newb can fix or...

Hello everyone,
I have a 1998 Accent and this is weird. Sometimes--although it's starting to do it more often--when I first crank up to drive off, the headlights, A/C and, as I discovered Sunday on my way to church, Overdrive doesn't work. It doesn't do it all the time, just randomly. And like I said, I didn't know about OD not working until Sunday. I've hit the dash,...

Hello. I have a 1999 Hyundai Accent, Older model edition (apparently there were two model years). I was trying to go out the today when my car would not start. I put the key in, turned the ignition and it would make the normal sound it did when starting but would not get over the final hump and start (My terminology regarding this is difficult. I don't know the words). My check engine light...

i'm getting this clicking noise in the back of my car. This only happens when i press on the brake. At first i thought it was the brake shoes in the back but when i pull the hand brake to slow it down or when i slightly press the brake, i don't hear the clicking noise. My guess is that the bearings are gone in the back but if any have ever encountered this problem...

Hi,
I did something really stupid at the weekend which I could kick myself for! Anyway here goes I turn around off a steep country road facing upwards, and try to set off and the car stalls (the car is actually accidentally in 3rd gear and I thought it was in 1st!). Rather than twig that I am in the wrong gear I pile on the revs and try to start again and of courese it stalls....

Also, on a different issue. My fuel gauge works fine in town but on the highway it goes down as if there was no fuel in the tanks. If I...

Hi all, great forum, glad I stumbled upon it! My 99 accent has issues with the drivers window. It's a manual crank jobber, and if I try to roll it up, the part of the window closest to the front "sticks." And it goes up all crooked. I then have to grab it and force it up by hand to get it to close. When I help it along it'll go up just fine. Tomorrow, I'm going to...
