car - 2004 Accent auto.- 1.6l - 97K miles
After battling a few months to get my check engine light - fault code P0304 to go off I finally remedied the problem with 3 bottles/fill ups of STP Gas treatment. This was about 1500miles ago. I go to DMV Inspection station and sat for an hour then wait anther 20minutes for the test to end and was given the big fat rejection sticker, she failed...

The car died and quit running! The OBD code indicated a "cam position senser." Replaced it, no luck!!! Through further investigation, by removing the top portion of the timing belt cover I dicovered that the timing belt was not turning even though it was in tact. By rotating it by hand I found approx. 20 teeth missing resulting in the crankshaft turning but not the cam. I...

I have 2000 Accent, and I diagnosed faulty MAF sensor. I tried cleaning it and it didn't help. I have MAF sensor from old 1999 Accent that works, but it has 4 pin connector instead of 5 pin, and it doesn't have integrated IAT sensor.
How can I connect this old 4 pin MAF sensor and seperate IAT sensor to my 5 pin connector?
Does anyone have wiring diagrams of these two different...

In late 2005 I started conducting my own reliability research. I'm reporting absolute stats like "times in the shop" that will make the differences between cars much clearer. Relative ratings obscure too much--how large is the difference between "better than average" and "worse than average"? I’ll also be updating results four times a year, so there will be...

My 02 Accent (GSI, 3-door, standard) has been giving me starting problems for a few months now. Usually it's fine but every once in a while it takes a while to start or won't start at all. It'll turn overbut won't ignite. The check engine light doesn't come on and the battery is fine.
I first took it onto the place where I get the oil changed - a fairly reputable...

My 2000 Accent (GS 1.5 AT) gets around 24 mpg. I just got it, and I've tried to increase the mileage because I drive a long distance to work. The reviews on the car all say it gets 36MPG on the highway new, so I would expect it would get around 30 now.
I've put on a SRI w/ cone filter. Replaced the fuel filter, plugs and wires,...

For sale are thermal phenolic intake manifold spacers for the 00-05 Hyundai Accent 1.6 dohc. These are just like the one hondata sells but are made from a different phenolic material. Drop the temperature of your intake manifold dramatically and free up horsepower from the colder intake charge these spacers will give you.
