I just purchased a used 07 Azera, and realized the emblem on the steering wheel is already peeling. I called the dealer (and Hyundai corporate) and they're saying I have to replace the entire airbag assembly - JUST TO REPLACE THE EMBLEM!! default/w00t.gif' 'w00t.gif' />

Hello! I have been lurking here and reading posts for the last 2 months, as I am considering either an Azera or Sonata. I have driven both cars and like the ride of the Azera over the Sonata, but of the 4 2007 Azeras I have driven 2 have had cracked dashes around the air bag and they had 10K and 6K on them. 2 had the clunk in the front end with mileage of 10K and 14K.
So I ask,...

I am having a problem with the seatbelt on the passenger seat on my 07 Azera. The problem seems to be that when you pull it out to buckle it and it retracts to remove the slack it will not release again to allow you to move around in the seat or to lean forward to get something off the floor or out of the glove box.
I've had it back to the dealer and they replaced the entire seatbelt but...

I went on a golf trip over the weekend down to southen KY. I took the boys down in my Azera as we had plenty of room in the oversized trunk. Plenty of room in the car as well and the drive was very cool relaxing as the temp outside was well into the 90s.
The car is fun to drive but wow the suspension sounds like my old 85 Dodge Dart. Instead of the clunk that happens when the car...

I have experienced a vibration with my 2007 Hyundai Azera Limited between 65 and 75 MPH ( most noticible at 70 mph) since the day of delivery in early Sept 2007. The steering wheel oscillates in my hand and can be visibly seen shaking. I called the salesman on the way home and he recommended I drive it a few days to see if it might have been caused by tire flat spotting from sitting on the lot for...

Hello...I have a 2006 Azera Limited with the Infinety Sound system and from time to time my sound goes out, then comes back on, even though there is always power to the radio. I checked the wiring at the Amp in the trunk, and it seems to be fine with no lose connections. Has anyone else experienced this or have any idea? It seems like it could be lose wiring of some sort, and/or possibly over...

I received a notification from Vehicle Warranty Division Recall Notification Center that there is a recall on my 2006 Azera. Received a postcard in the mail to call 800 649 1997 ASAP
Could this be a extended vehicle warranty company trying to sign me up to a long term contract or is it on the up and up?

We traded the Azzie three weeks ago for a Scion tC. Guess what? The tC has all remote functions integrated into the key! No more flopping, banging key fob. No more inadvertently hitting the panic button. Are you listening Hyundai?

Hello all,
We bought an '07 Azera last week from a dealer.
My understanding is replacement/additional keys can only be obtained through either the company or a dealer with proper equipment. Our local dealer told me that they would need to send the order to the company as they do no have the key cutting equipment and that the company will only cut a package of three -...

The now infamous "bounce test" has shown that the Azera's rear suspension characteristics are notably different than the front - firmer and probably just right for all 4 corners on a new car.
Why could that be? Think it's a double-wishbone like the front?
Surprise!

I previously wrote that how impressed I was with the Azera but have not been able to find a supply of 2008s with nav. Of the five area dealers, the only available cars were 2007s. I just heard from one of the dealers that there will be no more Azeras. He has one 2007 left and that will be it. No more new shipments. The car is to be replaced with the Genesis that is due out in the next month...

My Azera odo just recently turned over 17,000 miles.
Last week I started noticing that the clunking sound seemed to be either muffled or gone. "Okay", I said to myself, "This is just my imagination. I won't put this information on the Hyundai website until I am absolutely sure that this is not just a figment of my imagination".

I would like to know if anyone else has experienced this problem.
When I shift out of Park into either Drive or Reverse, I have to wait about 1 second before applying gas. If I don't wait that 1 second, I get a hefty jerk 'just' as the car starts moving. It's like the engine and transmission are getting synchronized before they find first gear.

Hi all - this question is in particular for folks with the pearl white paint. The rocker panels are body-colored, which is perfect, but there are 'drain holes' in the bottom of each door frame, I believe 3 in the front door and 2 in the rears. There are also 3 in the trunk lid frame. They are simply 1/4", square-cut gaps in the bottom of the frame, presumably to allow any water or...

Noted the Suspension on the Azera ie struts, are awful. The car bounces, makes clunking noise on the 2006 models especially. Maybe not on all onwers of Azeras but on most. This is a problem for someone who pays over 25,000 for a automoblie thinking they have a quality car when it turns out nothing can be done about the noise. The regional service manager called with the following information. He contacted corporate HQ and the technical departments to get the information.
There is no essential difference between the 040, 041 and 640 shocks. The numbers relate to the year of manufacture and not a change in the design of the shocks. The 040's were used in the TSB to eliminate the "noise" caused by the...
