Hello. I recently got a new stereo installed in my 2003 Santa Fe GLS. The OLD stereo I had in there was slightly larger than the standard double-din, so they had to cut some of the panel out. Now, with the NEW stereo in there, you can see the cut-out part of the panel.
So, where would be a good place to purchase a new interior panel that goes around the stereo (bezel)?

Hello - I have my rotors wrapped recently (dunno how happened). They were already thin since had them twice re-surfaced. Now too much vibrations when trying to brake. I think it's front rotors but to heck with it wanna change all 4. I am getting a good deal with all 4 rotors (OEM specs) at $160.00 with s/h. My pads are around 6 months old and they are very good condition. QUESION: What it...

I have a 2003 SantaFe 2.7L V6. I knew the gas mileage wasn't as good as I would like so I finally did a small gas mileage test.
Filled her up and zero'd the odometer.
I tried changing my driving habit to maximize gas mileage.
I basically drove like there was an egg between my foot and the gas pedal.
When I saw I was approaching a red light or a...

Hello all,
I'm a current owner of a 2000 Sonata GLS (soon to be sold) and a future owner of a 2003 Santa Fe GL.
I am picking up the Santa Fe on Friday but I know it comes with a transmitter that doesn't work (and looks terrible!).
My question is, which remote should I be looking for as a replacement? I've seen simple 2 button and 3 button...

Hi,
I have an '04 Santa Fe, 2.4L, 2WD, Blue, 79K miles that we bought used 2 months ago. The CEL had been coming on, so I took it to Autozone, got code>>evap system, got new gas cap. Stayed off a little while, came back on, same code. Now we make sure the cap is tightened 3 clicks, but when you go to get gas the next time, the gas cap seems much tighter than it was before. Any...

[FONT=Geneva][SIZE=7][COLOR=blue]After 3 years of trying to track down this smell, (mostly present in the summer months) I finally tracked down the culprit. IT IS NOT THE AC OR HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE AC/HEAT VENTS. THE SMELL seems to come from the vents but IT IS NOT THE VENTS -- THE PROBLEM IS 1 or 2 DEFECTIVE FREEZE PLUGS IN THE REAR OF THE AUTO. HELP!!!
Bought a 2001 from a used car dealership about 2 months ago. A week later it started acting funny. It would often race the rpm's about 2000 when at at stop light and then others times would act like I was out of gas when I would take off. Sputtered and then finally run normally. Then other times it wouldn't start and just crank over and over. After 10-15...

Alright, my lethargic little santa fe (in my humblest opinion) needs some open heart surgery, i.e. a new air intake. Not because it actually needs one, but because better gas mileage, acceleration, and a little extra power would be nice. So far it seems like it will be an easy setup. Remove the factory intake box and the like, and replace it with a 90 degree angle pipe, top for the intake, and...

I found my car's overall noise levels (engine) reduced however the RPM jumps high (beyond 3000) whenever I am attempting to accelerate, even from full stop. Just wondering if this is normal? Hi,
I have a problem with a bad smell (like a sick smell) when I first switch the Air Conditioning on. This lasts for about 5 minutes. I have a late 2002 UK 2.0 litre Turbo Diesel model (right hand drive). Is there a filter that needs replacing? If so where is the filter and how easy is it to access/change on my car ? Would appreciate any help on this matter.
Thanks, Dave.

I have a three pin maf sensor connector on my 2003 santa fe. How can I find out which wire is which. Does anyone have a wire diagram they could send my way or is there a way to find it by using a volt-meter?
