I am looking at buying a 2002 Sonata, V6. Hopefully the GLS, but possibly LX. Is anyone a long time owner of this car that can tell me if you have had a lot of problems with it...? Or has it been a pretty low maintenance car? Tell me all you can, PLEASE!

Thank you

Excellent value for the money and an overall very nice family-sized sedan. I've had my 4-cyl 02 Sonata for 2 years and put and additional 45,000 kms on it to reach almost the 160K mark. ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS to report. Good gas mileage (9-10-11L/100 km on average). I've done only scheduled oil changes, as well as a voluntary tranny fluid replacement. Runs perfectly.
