Wow, after seeing yours I took a look at mine and mine is lifting too. Not in the same place though. Mine is in the middle. I have my fin a little farther back than yours so it goes over the little curve and that is where it is lifting.

I think I would be scared to drive with the front lifting. I might be driving along one day and see it hanging down the back window from it's little wire.

Keep us updated on your outcome from talking with the company. I want to know what they recommend. I don't want to send it back though. Maybe I will glue it or something.

yeah if mine was in the center i would just glue it.. Even the back i would glue.. it wont hurt the paint of the actual car since it would be just the adhesive to the antenna. but the front is not only lifting, it looks like the antenna slid back a bit exposing that adhesive. waiting on an email

Keep us in the loop. If there is a problem with the fin I will cancel my order.
Did you let them know you are on a message board full of possible customers.
You might want to add that you have already gotten several people to buy one.

yeah i told them that... I also took a picture of my boyfriends sharkfin antenna and sent it with my antenna pics. I mentioned that his has been on two years and it looks great, and he's the one that helped me install it. Obviously it is either the fit or just a defect on the antenna. Still waiting on reply

On top of your problems could they not have used a thinner less noticeable
tape? That thick grey tape they used does not look so hot. It gives it a very
aftermarket look. I hope I'm happy with mine when it comes in.

seems like there is a fitting problem from the pictures they say.. i need to return it and have it corrected.. sad thing is, i waited so long for the antenna to begin with, 5 weeks, that i am really irritated.

So be on the lookout and if you bought it don't install it just yet. Contact them and find out what to do from there.. I'm not sure if this is a one time thing, but i don't want anyone else to deal with it AFTER installation..

They have been really nice and wanting to fix the issue asap

I will keep everyone posted. I'm still happy with the way it looks, aside from the adhesive sticking out, and separating from the antenna.

They seem really interested in correcting the issue, and for being so far away, they are being really professional. Some places could just say its not their fault and leave it be.

Any news yet? I received my ship out notice, and I was wondering if they have come to a
conclusion of if it was bad glue or is just a bit off in the curve?
