Hi,

My Trajet is 3 years 6 months old now.

I can feel the body vibrates (shakes) when travelling from 90 to 100 km/h.

Did a balancing to the front and rear tyres last week but the problem persists.

Went for a oncar high speed balancing, and now it vibrates at 90 to 110 km/h.

Any speed higher than 110 km/h, the car does not vibrate.

What seems to be the problem? Never have this problem last time.

Hi, TrajetXG, you changed to a Sante Fe already?

Any Trajet Gurus out there knows of any good Trajet car mechanics in Singapore for repairs and servicing? Not going back to Komoco to get ripped.

Hi iztsk,

Yes I've changed to a SF but am still active here becos I'm still moderating this forum. :)

Your problem maybe due to the Rims or sometime the Tires as well since you said you have try balancing. Have you tried putting the front wheel to the back and the back to the front. If its still the same, then it might be the Suspension or the drive shaft problem...I just guesing only. :)

Hi, TrajetXG,

Thanks for the information. Will try that out.

Any recommendations for workshops?

By the way, has been thinking of changing to the SF also, as I cannot do within the 7 seats. I first saw this car in the showroom while I was in China some 2 years ago. That time, Singapore still don't have this SUV. I actually fell in love with it; you can say its love at first sight. I was the first to test drive it in Komoco when they brought it in.

Can you tell me your experience with the SF, such as the fuel consumption, comfort, power, etc.

I know this may be the wrong column, but please share with us, as all drivers of 7 seaters, sitting tall may want to consider the SF.

Thanking you in advance.

Hi iztsk,

Apart from the higher road tax, I can't think of any Con for the SF. It fits my requirement as I am also looking for a 7 seater, space and comfort. FC wise, you'll be surprised that it is the same as my Trajet at 9km/L. Being 2.7L, there's no lack of power when you need it. Its silky smooth on the highway and quieter too. Can really consider this as a replacement for Trajet. No wonder Hyundai have stop producing Trajet anymore since they have the SF. :)
