yesterday my scoupe started smoking like a ***** so i stopped at the side of the road popped the hood and i saw cooling fluids everywhere and a crack at the top of my radiator, got a new one today from a lokal scrapyard

now my question was what could have caused this?

and while installing the new radiator are there any things i should check so this wont happen again

Time has caused this.. it was probably caked/blocked up. thinsg like radiators and Fuel pumps need to be replaced every 10 (or less ) years even when they working good. but it could be a Time bomb, just like injectors...

but it could be a bigger problem right, like mayB the fan didnt work propperly and it got too hot and it bursted or sth like that or isnt that possible?

is there any othere cause is could check just to make sure it wont happen again?
