How is the 2007 Azera Limited different from the Limited with the Ultimate Package? I will be purchasing a 2007 very soon, and want to be sure I know exactly the differences - as of now, I really can't find much.

I think the Ultimate has Infinity surround sound with an external amp, turn signals on the mirrors, power folding mirrors... not sure what else. Telescoping steering wheel?

Ultimate has Power tilt/telescope steering wheel, power adjustable foot pedals, memory for drivers seat, outside mirrors and steering wheel, power folding side mirrors with turn signal, rain sensing windshield wipers, as well as the 315 Infinity Audio systems and sunroof.
After 14 months and 10,000 miles everything on my 2007 still works as it should. Never had any problems.
You may want to try it out on roads with dips, potholes and rises to check out the ride. Some people like it while some don't. It the ride is OK with you, its a fantastic car.
Good luck.

:)

Add to what others have already said:

There are No adjustable pedals, and the lack of the infamous wood trim steering wheel.
The rest of my car has wood, but not the steering wheel.
The dash is different and I actually prefer it to the other dash where
the car must be running for you to be able to see anything.
I do have a tilt and telescopic steering wheel, it just isn't power. I fix it and forget it.
No one has mentioned heated seats. I've got them also.

I bought my SE Limited which does have the extra cost leather package because
at the time when I needed a car, it was the only Azera in stock
at the dealer that had XM radio which was a must have.
MSRP was just over $29K, so I did save some money. Most fully loaded Limited
Ultimate package equipped vehicles were about $2K more, so I did save.

The radio is very good, but it lacks the extra amp and the boom box. Big deal.
It is still the best radio I have ever had, and I have had some high end vehicles.

I would stay away from a GLS because of the smaller motor (3.3L) and I don't
believe that the leather interior was even available. The fuel economy is only
slightly better and the loss of the extra power would be a factor for me.

The GLS also comes with 16 inch wheels which I actually prefer account of replacement
tires are less expensive and the ride should be better. I wanted to trade my
wheels for them but I couldn't find anyone with a 2007 who would trade.

So either an SE or the Limited with the Ultimate package and you will be good to
go. No need to feel left out with an SE Limited. No one will know but you!
The local dealer still has a new 2007 SE like mine on his lot. Bet you could really deal on it!

Good luck.

:)

All of the info you have received so far is quite correct with the exception of the 3.3L engine in the GLS.

I have a GLS with the 3.3 and you will be hard pressed to find a heck of a lot of difference as far as power is concerned. Also, the 3.3 is a more efficient engine, given size to horse power ratio as compared to the 3.8. I get about 4 miles to the gallon better mileage, as well.

However, as has been pointed out, the GLS does not come with leather.

I also have an 07 Santa Fe Limited with the 3.3 and leather. I like the smell of the leather in my Santy but in the long run, my Azera cloth seats are far more comfortable, overall.

I believe the Hyundai automobiles are great cars for the money.

The last Hyundai I owned was an 88 Excel. It is still on the road with over 200,000 miles on it. I drove it for the first 110,000 miles before donating it to our church. They fixed it up (repaired ripped stitches on driver's side seat and new valve cover gasked) and gave it to a local school teacher who drives 40 miles round trip to work each day.

By the way, I no longer am experiencing the clunking sound in the front end of my Azera but still believe the suspension is way to soft . Other than that, this is a great car, regardless of the equipment it comes with.

In the mean time, so many choices and so little time. What ever you get, enjoy.
