Hi, I am a new(used) Elantra owner. For "the first time in decades" the lot at my daughters flooded. Being the good mom I waded in to save the car. The water was "only" up to the console and only for the few minutes it took me to move the car. I took the car home and removed the seats and carpet. Originally the seatbelt bell dinged like crazy and the airbag light was on. After drying out, the dinging is normal, the airbag light is on and the ignition key cannot be removed unless the battery ground is disconnected. I got a new used airbag control module, under console, but no change. The engine runs great, it appears the water problem is interior. Any ideas? I saw something about a ATA Keylock control module and a BCM. Could it need these? Thanks
