Hello all!

'05 Sonata GLS V6, but I imagine it's not specific to this vehicle.

We've been having a sporadic 'whistle' coming from under the engine hood. I pinpointed it to this part (see picture). The whistle will change pitch and stop when I tap on the component or wiggle the wire harness.

It's located on the fender wall on the passenger side. It's near the power steering fluid reservoir and windshield washer fluid filler neck.

What is it?

Thanks,
Paul

That's the siren module for the keyless entry/alarm system. If it's making noise (when it shouldn't) then it needs to be replaced.

The Hyundai part number is 95710-3D000. List price is $71.90

Thank you!

A buddy found one at a salvage yard off a 2002 Sonata. Would that work?

Thanks again!
Paul
