Can anyone who's used the college graduate rebate give me some info on exactly what the criteria is? I have my associates, and I'll be getting my Bachelor's degree in December. I'm just wondering what exactly I'd need in order to qualify. I'd love an extra $500 off.

Thanks,
MR

You should be able to find some info from a link above.

It seems like 09 sonatas are not applicable.

First off, congrats on getting close to graduation.

Second, from what I was told (and someone please correct me if I'm wrong, cuz I'll drive down to my dealership and beat the crap out of them . . . j/k, well sorta) the $500 recent college grad is not an actual cash rebate. It is some sort of a special loan program for people with no credit, that is basically crap. You end up paying more in financing charges then the extra $400 or $500 off.

From their website:

1. Visit your local Hyundai dealer and bring a copy of your diploma or a letter from the registrar's office as well as verifiable proof of employment or an offer letter from a prospective employer. Then drive home in the car of your dreams - after years of hard work, you've earned it!

2. A four-year university, an accredited two-year college, or nursing school. Includes graduates and graduate candidates attending an accredited masters or doctorate program. Applicants must be graduates of U.S. universities. Visit your participating Hyundai dealer for details.

3. Additional $400 HMFC rebate on top of any available HMA rebates. The $400 HMFC College Graduate rebate can only be applied to HMFC bookings (sales) and may not be combined with other HMFC special offers or programs. Click on Special Programs above for current HMA rebates.
