finaly i bought my new car azera 2008 - G380

BUT

theres something iam not sure about it

the air bag

they told me it has 8 air bag

how to be sure ???

is there any marks to know ???

There should be small embossed oval labels, stating "SRS Airbag" at the tops of the front, center and rear pillars, the lower edge of the center of the steering wheel and on the dash above the passenger-side glove box. There should be no observable outlines, but a few have had a problem with such an outline appearing around the air bag over the glove box.

Incidently, don't lay anything on the dash which might block proper deployment of the passenger's airbag...

Regarding the air bags question, perhaps the model that is shipped over
yonder is equipped differently than the model we get stateside?

Later . . I just thought of this:

What is your VIN? Don't need the entire VIN, just the first ten characters.

The seventh character tells which restraint system your vehicle has.
It should be a number between a "1" and "6."

If your Azera shipped to Saudi Arabia is the same air bag wise as the U S models,
you will probably find a "6" in that seventh position.

There's a thought! Non-US countries seem to get features not available to the US buyer, maybe the air-bag obsessed US market (read: government) isn't as much a factor in some overseas locations... a trade-off for the overseas-available navigation electronics and downward-turning-when-in-reverse mirrors?...
