Interior / Present - The dome and map lights in my 08 GLS are too dull to do the night delivery work that I do. I need to read inside my car at night.
Solution - I have six (6) 12 LED Panels ($10 each) on the way from www.iJDMTOY.com. Four (4) for the Dome and one (1) each for the maps.

Interior / Future - Everyone likes the blue interior lighting. That includes me. I would like to add a little more by tracing the built in dual cupholders in the center console with an illuminated blue ring. Not one that shows the LED points but illuminates evenly. Is there anything out there yet ???

Exterior / Present - The oem T15 5W Tungsten backup/reverse lights are terrible.
I replaced mine with T15 9 LED replacements - STILL TERRIBLE and DANGEROUS.
I have more powerful T15 1W ($9 each) on the way from iJDMTOY. These are the most powerful available at this time and should be slightly better than my oem's.
What is needed ( but not yet created ) is a T15 5W input /15 W output or some other type of more powerful LED bulb that can be adapted over to the T15 socket.

Exterior / Present - Rear tag lights extremely dull.
Solution - I have two (2) 36mm white LED Festoon replacement bulbs coming from iJDMTOY and I am sure this will provide the amount of light needed.

I have found iJDMTOY to be the people to deal with as far as price, quality and service. There are others vendors. . .if you like dealing with nasty people that charge too much for inferior goods. I am in no way associated with these people.
I just thought I could save everyone a little money and a lot of trouble.

I put blue ambient lighting under the dash and it looks great with the dash... here are some pictures, sorry they're a little blurry, I had to turn the flash off and on my camera that means turning off the shake assist.

Looks great, did you hook that up to a blue toggle switch.

How about a little something under the front seats to take
care of the footwells in the back?

The neons came with just a black switch and a potentiometer because they will flash to the music if I set it to do that, so no there's no blue switch. I have the switch hidden so that don't know they're there unless I turn them on. I had two identical neons for the back footwells and I was going to put them under the front seats as you said but while installing them in my old car, one of them broke.. now i'm left with only 1 for the back seats, so I haven't put them in yet... trying to find a replacement on ebay, I want the same ones so that they look uniform. I would also like to put 2 or 4 LEDs per cup holder like the factory ambient lighting in other cars, but I haven't delved into that yet...

Could you use that one remaining orphaned stick in the trunk and get another pair for the back footwells ???

It's not all that much to see, just better interior dome lighting.

I'll have to wrestle the digital camera away from my daughter and get it done some night soon.

I haven't finished both map lights yet, only have one finished so far. I ran out of panels (using two panels in each).

Map Lights - just carefully take your lenses off then pull the bulbs.

The led's I used are the 12 Led Universal panels from JDM Japan Led's (this is who you want to deal with).

The panels are sold by the pair ($20 a pair). Wire the two panels together ( I replaced each map light with two panels ) and to the pig tail that has the correct socket adapter on it with everything black-to black and white -to-white, then tape your splices.

I recommend that you tape the panels (using clear tape) directly to and inside the lense, exactly positioned in the window where you I want it. Just pay attention that the adapter will make to the socket when you go to re-install the lense. There's no fear of heat hurting the lense because Led's don't create heat and these lights are not used continuously for hours at a time.

Dome Light - I used 4 panels wired together. Putting this many together was tricky and a bit intimidating to me because the panels wires are very fine like human hair. When you strip those wires down, do so carefully and take your time.

And again pay attention to the adapter end making back it to the socket.
Test your connections before popping the lense back in.
