.

Did anything happen prior to the car pulling and making the noise that could have caused this? Did you maybe hit a big pothole or maybe someone else drove your car that could have it something (like a curb)?

If you leave the car in parked and just turn the wheel right and then left do you feel any major hesitation or hear anything?

Have you jacked the car up with the tranny in nuetral and just spun the wheel on each side to hear any type of grinding noise?

I would not absolutely rule out the tranny, but it does not sound like it. If it were me I would want to isolate the problem to either the rack or the wheels and then either the right or left wheel.

If it's clicking it's probably a CV joint on the drive axle. I think you have to replace the whole axle. If you still have warranty left, it should be covered.

Hi there, I have the same problem, and the rubber boot on one side is cracked and oil is leaking. I'd like to replace it by myself but have no idea if there's any catch or this should a a pretty straight forward procedure? When I looked there it looks way easier than replacing the timing belt.
Any tips and tricks? Thanks.

I doubt a bad CV joint would make it pull. I'm thinking more along the lines of front brakes. When is the last time you had the front brakes inspected/serviced?
