Hi,
I have a gearbox (5pd Manual transmission) which is getting noisy in my 1995 X3.

I have a situation where I may be able to buy a rebuilt x2 gearbox and clutch from a 1991 X2.

Since I haven't noticed any distinction in the shop manual, I was hoping they are the same?

Could anyone confirm this or put it straight for me?

hi,
the transmissions are on opposite sides so i'd assume the diff side of the box would be on the wrong side, i'm not 100% sure if there's anything you can do but maybe check with a wrecker?
