While changing the spark plugs on our 2002 Sonata 2.7L V6, I discovered a broken wire on one of the fuel injectors. I'm pretty sure I can fix it if I can get the small wiring harness, which powers 3 injectors, off of the car so I can take to my workbench. However, I haven't been able to get the connectors off of the injectors. I don't want to apply too much force and break them.

Does anybody know the trick to unlocking the fuel injector electrical connectors so they can be unplugged? I couldn't find anything in the online service manual for this model.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Never mind. Right after posting the question, I figured it out. Just squeeze the connector with pliers, or even your finger, and the locking tab releases. Fixed the wire, but it's too dark now to put it back together, so I'll do it tomorrow.
