I just took my 2001 Hyanduai Elantra into the local Hydaui Dealer this morning
and got a tune up done. They replaced the plugs and wires. About 10 minutes
after I got the car back this Saturday afternoon and about 20 minutes after the
Dealer Service area closed the Battery Warning light and Brake Warning light
came on while I was driving. I was pretty far away from my home so I split for
home about 1 1/2 hours away. Drove all the way without any issues whatsoever.

I have not had a problem since I purchased the car about four months ago but
I have to take a long trip in a week and I am wary about going back to the dealer
before I hear back from of my fellow Hydaui Elantra owners. The car has about
120,000. I bought it with 109,000 on it.

Please give me some advice fellow Elantra owners...about what this could be
and what I can do.

First suggestion is to contact the dealer.

If you don't want to do that, next suggestion is to get on hmaservice.com and look at the ETM section to check out the schematics for the Charging and Brake Warning systems. They are on the same circuit actually. It might be a real problem, or it might be a wiring issue.
