Can anyone help me this is driving me crazy! I am trying to change the cabin air (pollen) filter. According to the owners manual it only involves the removal of 6 taping screws to remove the glove box to gain access to the filter cover! I have removed them easily but cannot get the glove box to come out!!! Any suggestions/help would be appreciated.

There are 6 screws, then 2 clips--one on either side of the box. On my '05 there was also some fat cable attached to the rear right hand side that prevented it from coming out. You might want to try lying down on the floor and looking up at it from behind to see if anything like that is preventing it from coming out. If you just have the 2 clips, it just takes some yanking down on it and it'll come out.

Many thanks. I have now managed to change the cabin filter easily in around 5 minutes. You are right all that is required is the removal of the 6 screws then carefully apply brute force by jamming a screwdriver between the top of the glove box and the dashboard and gradually release the top of the box from its setting then the fitting of a new filter and the re-assembly is a piece of cake!
