I'll try and put some information together on how these 2 will stack up, but I'm interested to hear your thoughts.

The new 2016 Sportage should be unveiled in September. How will it stack up against the new Tucson I wonder? Fully loaded I'm sure they'll both be around the $30k-$35k mark.

Basically the same, just packaged different.

I'll tell you what else it will have, that I am pretty sure the Hyundai won't: paddle shifters. I absolutely think these should be on every car. I use them constantly and hate driving my old 2010 Tucson, which doesn't have them. If I want to downshift, I have to take my hand off the steering wheel and go into manual mode. I don't need to do that on my Sonata, nor did I on my Audi before that. I'll bet the Sportage gets them.

I have seen pics of concepts, but nothing that anyone (not even the "spy" websites) are calling real. Funny thing is, the Korean Car Blog says it will be here in September, two months after the Hyundai Tucson. Hmmmmmm...that would mean the Tucson was supposed to be here in July!
