So I installed new wheels and tires I bought from a guy and were confirmed that they were not feathers nor warped. Rode on them and the ride was very smooth.
Took the car in to get the tires balanced and TPMS sensors installed and tires professionally balanced and afterward, car vibrates at higher speeds. Car mechanic stated that I needed new camber for right side and lower ball joint for the left side. This was good to hear seeing that other place almost did not pass me for inspection because they said I needed a lower ball joint, as well, the driver side tires were wearing from the inside out. "Which is why I bought the new set of rims and tires"
So, after searching through the threads, I found a guy who replaced his upper ball joints with adjustable ones to fix the camber issue. So I ordered the new upper ball joints and the lower. Had them installed by a shop then took it back to where I had it aligned for them to re-align it again since it is under warranty for a year.
SO now even after the balance, alignment and all, it still vibrates at higher speeds. So I have my wife take it back today and they tell her "looks like the rotors, we see where you changed the pads but not the rotors"?!?!? I did change the pads and not the rotors but it was back in December...did not have any vibration.
I was planning to switch out the rotors and pads soon because my OEM are rusted up but anyways...could the rotos really be causing the vibration?
I know the new wheels are heavier being chrome, and I know the tires are practically new and even worn. So could me having new even worn, non warped rims and tires be showing me things that my older cupped inside uneven worn tires compensated for?
Its like the new tires are showing me issues the oem ones were hiding.
