Hi All,
I have noticed the black dashboard on my i10 tends to scratch very easily, does anyone know a product that will restore the finish ?
I have tried many products for car interiors but alas the scratches are still highly visible and greyish in colour. I'm all out of ideas so any suggestions welcome.

I have also found that the plastic interior trim scratches very easily. I couldn't make out where the scratches were coming from around the glove box release, then realized it's my finger nails, just puting your fingers against the plastic as you pull the release will do it. The scratches really show up, it must be very cheap plastic.

Haven't had a problem with my i10 but have used black shoe polish on a previous car to good effect. Put it on with a cloth wrapped around your finger, let it dry and polish with a brush......

I tried the black shoe polish on a rag solution and must say it worked a treat. I used the type that comes as a liquid in a squeezy tube with a sponge applicator on the end, available in most supermarkets. Didn't bother wiping it off, just left it to dry and voila , scratches just disappeared, hope the effect lasts.
Great tip, many thanks to the Mod.

Glad it worked. Your last line gave me a good old smile because I once was a Mod and now I am again! Heh heh......
