Resetting TPS warning?

The other night my tire pressure warning went off showing my left rear tire was going flat. After a quick inspection I saw a nail sticking out of the tire. The next day I took it to a tire shop and had the nail removed and the hold plugged. Ever since then I still get the low pressure warning on that tire even though it shows that it clearly has 35psi like the other 3 tires. I've done a Google search at how to reset the error message, looked in my owners manual, etc. but I can't figure out how to clear the warning. Some suggestions say to press the TPS rest button (well duhh, if I had one I would) and I've looked through a bunch of screens but don't see anything about resetting that warning. Other suggestions say to drive the care at 50mph or more for 10+ minutes. Really? So I need to get on the freeway and drive nowhere to reset it? That seems silly to me. Isn't there an easier way to clear the message? Do I need to take it to the dealer to have them reset it? I also have the service reminder message coming up that is incorrect. The dealer said they would reset it but never did. Is this something I can do myself?
Thanks!

I have no idea how they patched the tire. I wasn't able to watch while they did the repair. So do you think the sensor is damaged? Maybe I need to take it back to the tire repair place and have them look at it. They did the repair for free, so they might charge me this time unless I can convince them their guy messed up the sensor or didn't inspect it when he should have. I just didn't know if there was something else I should be doing.
